The Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) operates to facilitate the involvement of the parent community within the school, both socially and financially, to benefit the school students. Parents are encouraged to become involved, with meetings advertised in the Term Planner.

A school Parents and Citizens Association has two main objectives:

  1. Developing a thriving school community through enhancing the relationships between teachers, students and parents.
  2. To provide additional learning and development opportunities for our children.

Deanmore now has an enviable ongoing electronic learning support program that provides individual computer access to all students as a direct result of parent support of the P&C fundraising efforts. Many of the library books, much of the play equipment and shade structures in every day use are a direct result of P&C funding initiatives.

If you have any questions or need some information, please reach out to the P&C President via email or visit Meetings are held twice a term usually on a Monday evening in the staff room unless circumstances prevent this and they will be held remotely. Please see communications on Compass for attending as everyone is welcome.
The P&C encourage parents to become involved and join the meetings as it’s a great way to be a part of the school community.
